JOB DESCRIPTION: Bill oversees the pastoral care for the church, including finances, funerals, hospital visits and weddings, along with other related ministries. He also is involved with the church’s senior ministry, missions, newcomers and is the contact person for various community ministries, as well as preaching every month or two.

BORN: Bill was born and grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Lancaster County in 1981.

ATTENDED MBIC SINCE: He and his wife Julie began attending MBIC in summer 2011.

BEFORE JOINING THE MBIC STAFF: Bill has served as a pastor at two churches in England, and was Care Ministries Pastor at LCBC prior to coming to MBIC.

CURRENT HOME: Bill and Julie were married in 1981 and have lived in Manheim since returning from England in 1999. They have three adult children (Bill, Larissa and Andrea), and two granddaughters.

Community Care

Dorcas Fund. Financial assistance from the church.

Food Pantry. Each November we collect donations for the Manheim Central Food Pantry. November 2018 Shopping List.

Giving Tree. An opportunity at Christmas each year to help families with practical needs.

Homes of Hope. MBIC has partnered with Love, INC to sponsor a transitional home in Manheim for families facing homelessness. Learn more.

Hospital. Visits and prayer prior to surgery.

Manheim Project. Small building projects for Manheim residents in the summer.

Meal Ministry. Meals are available for people who are in need due to having a baby, illness or other circumstances. Contact us to learn more.

Senior Ministry (55+). Friendship Club meets on the first Thursday of each month for a program and meal, 10:00 a.m. in the Activity Center Lobby; Bible study meets on the third and fourth Thursdays of each month, 10:00 a.m. in the Welcome Center.

Cancer Support Network

provides care for individuals and families living with cancer related issues. Learn more.

Cross Cultural Connection

is a partnership with Church World Services and other area churches assisting refugee families to settle in Lancaster County.

Blessing Innocent Children

is an MBIC ministry with a range of support and resources to follow the mandate of James 1:27.  

Adoption Ministry. Comprised of adoption fellowship meetings, mentor relationships and financial support.

Foster Care Ministry. Aims to provide support for foster care families.
